GAINESVILLE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – 20-30 hours per week (your choice)

Rarely open jobs now open! Serving adults with developmental disabilities living on a 100 year old campus in Gainesville, Florida. You would join two other OTs, a COTA, four PTs, four SLPs, four RDs and four techs. We work Mon-Fri, 8-5. Never any holidays or weekends. Looking for a therapist who loves this population and is excited about this very cool setting. It wonderful to be able to help people for as long as they require therapy without any insurance billing or caps. The campus is self contained and pleasant – you will find yourself out and about during the day – not stuck in an office.

LAKE COUNTY SCHOOLS SPEECH PATHOLOGISTS !!! One spot left – LOST LAKE ELEMENTARY located in Clermont. Full time pays $72,900.00 for CCC with full benefits. This is a great district – the Lead SLP has always been helpful and the ESE Administration is very supportive of all the SLPs. We are on the clock 7 hours per day with a 30 minute lunch. We are included in all district inservices, including pre-planning week before school starts, which is much appreciated. If you are a seasoned SLP and you think you are interested in trying schools, this is a great place to start. CCC or CF welcome. Training for SLPs new to the schools is provided.
ALACHUA COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs or SLPAs FULL or PART TIME. Current openings at Oak View Middle, Rawlings Elementary, plus a few 1 day locations helping another SLP. This is a great county to work in! We have awesome Lead Therapists and plenty of experienced therapists on staff to train you if you are new to public schools. There are so many advantages to the Gainesville area – we’re a University of Florida town with all the activities that go along with university life…we’re close to some major airports and have our own regional airport with easy access to Atlanta and Charlotte…we’re an easy drive to Crescent Beach and St Augustine…Orlando and the theme parks are an easy day trip…access to excellent healthcare via UF/Shands. For CFs and SLPAs – we have really good supervisors for you – we guarantee a rewarding experience. Our rates went up again this year, so the pay is better than ever!
VOLUSIA COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs – Excellent salary; CCCs earn $68,250.00 and full benefits for the school 182 day school year. CFs earn $65,520.00. Independent Contractors also welcomed. Current openings are: CAMPBELL MIDDLE & MAINLAND HIGH (Daytona Beach)- 3 days with small caseload mostly covering compensatory ed sessions, PINE RIDGE HIGH (Deltona)-4 or 5 days (your choice), TOMOKA ELEMENTARY- 2 days in Ormond Beach covering compensatory ed sessions, and lastly available is a SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT of 180 minutes per week for a single student at ATTAIN, INC in Orlando for this school year and beyond – no travel to Volusia County needed! If you’re new to the district, you get a mentor. Almost all SLPs have an aide assigned to them a couple of times a week to help with paperwork. Volusia gives all SLPs an ASHA Learning Pass (in addition to our own company CEU budget,) plus SLP trainings throughout the year. This is a good district and it’s in a great Florida beach area! The district is divided into the east side (beach side) and west side (closer to Sanford includes Deland, Deltona) with separate SLP leadership to make sure you get any help you need quickly and by someone located near your school.
OCALA / MARION COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs and SLPAs – PAY INCREASE FOR 25-26 SCHOOL YEAR. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS WELCOMED. This has been a stable place to work in a pleasant area filled with springs, rivers, horse farms and outdoor activities. We’ve had OTs and SLPs working in this district for 20 years! HIGHLANDS COUNTY SCHOOLS SPEECH PATHOLOGIST & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST OUR HIGHEST PAY! Pay is excellent. Ranges from $76,048.00 to $78,400.00 depending on your school experience. This is a smaller district in the middle of the state, but it is perfect for weekend day trips to the beach, Orlando or Ft Myers. The city has grown and has all the usual amenities for happiness and recreation. This district requires SLPs to already have CCC. New grad OTs are welcomed. There is a cool car racing vibe here at Sebring International Raceway, plus a UNESCO Dark Sky area (see the Milky Way!!)
FLAGLER COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs< & an OT/strong> There are three SLP spots and one OT position open in this small beachside district, just south of St Augustine. Bunnell Elementary has a very large caseload and needs an additional 2 SLPs! Rymfire Elementary in Palm Coast needs 1 additional SLP. This is an oldtime beach community where you can still park right next to the beach. It is also home to lots of affordable housing in Palm Coast.
