SALARY :
This varies with the position that you are interested in – call us. WE HAVE RECEIVED BIG RAISES IN MARION COUNTY & LAKE COUNTY, SO CHECK OUT THESE AWESOME COUNTIES. Most therapists choose an annual salary that is paid monthly or bi-weekly, however we can also arrange to pay hourly rates. Direct deposit is available. Independent subcontractors are welcome.

RETIREMENT :
We have a 401K Plan!   You are eligible for participation typically after 6 months.   Once participating,  you are vested immediately.   We make a  company contribution into your retirement account monthly whether or not  you make a deferral from your paychecks.  Our 401K is managed by TRPC (The Retirement Plan Company) and the assets are held at Charles Schwab & Co.  There are a variety of portfolios you can choose from , including target date portfolios, or you can direct your own investments. We have a Roth option for you as well.

HEALTH INSURANCE :
We have an excellent employee group plan including a pharmacy prescription plan, with BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF FLORIDA.   There is a choice of six health plans, so find the one that is right for you.    Five plans are PPOs and one plan is an HMO.  Family members and spouses are also eligible for inclusion in this health plan. Adult children up to age 26 may be insured under this plan (even if they are married and live out of state) ! Of course, domestic partners are welcomed and covered under this BCBSFL plan.

SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE : Available through AFLAC which includes Short term Disability Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Assurance, and Personal and Accident Indemnity Insurance.

PERSONAL DAYS & VACATION : This varies with the position chosen. For school based jobs you get all summer off, two weeks at Christmas and a week for Spring Break, plus a modest personal leave allowance. Some districts even have the whole week off for Thanksgiving! Our non-school jobs are year round, but with awesome vacations, with some going up to 7 weeks off per year!

CF SUPERVISION : In most cases, CF supervision is provided. We do our best to make sure you have a good Clinical Fellowship experience.

STUDENT PRACTICUM AND INTERNSHIPS : We encourage our experienced staff to mentor and train students in real life work settings. Current arrangements exist with several Florida Universities for Occupational Therapy and for Speech- Language Pathology practical work experience. This does depend on our therapists deciding they want to have a student work with them – we put no pressure on anyone to accept students. Some therapists like it, some do not – we are happy to check for you and see if anyone is up for it!

ALACHUA COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs and SLPAs Full or part time welcome. There are a few schools needing additional services. WILLIAMS ELEMENTARY needs 1-3 days of SLP services. LAKE FOREST ELEMENTARY is in need of 3 days a week, NORTON Elementary needs 2 days a week and there are probably a couple of more! If you live in Gainesville, this is a nice position – great pay, wonderful hours, great kids, rewarding work and loads of vacations.

GAINESVILLE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

Rarely open jobs now open! Serving adults with developmental disabilities living on a 100 year old campus in Gainesville, Florida. You would join two other OTs, a COTA, four PTs, four SLPs, four RDs and four techs. We work Mon-Fri, 8-5. Never any holidays or weekends. Looking for a therapist who loves this population and is excited about this very cool setting. It wonderful to be able to help people for as long as they require therapy without any insurance billing or caps. The campus is self contained and pleasant – you will find yourself out and about during the day – not stuck in an office. One of the best parts of this job is that you get 7 weeks off annually.

ST JOHNS SCHOOLS SLP-SLP FULL or PART TIME.
FULL TIME Maternity Coverage: Mid-March to May 29, 2026. DURBIN CREEK ELEMENTARY, 4100 Race Track Rd, Fruit Cove, FL (2 other SLPs on campus, 1 full time, 1 part time)
PART TIME 3 or 4 days/week CROOKSHANK ELEMENTARY, 1455 N Whitney St, St Augustine, FL (2 other full time SLPs on campus)
PART TIME 5 HOURS/Wk, VERITAS CLASSICAL SCHOOL, small group therapy, only therapy and documentation, no meetings. Can do in one day or break it into two days.
We work 7.5 hours per day and have great salaries here – CFs can get $65,500 and CCCs can earn 71,250 for full time! AND you can live near the beach! Contact us to set up an interview.

LAKE COUNTY SCHOOLS SPEECH PATHOLOGISTS !!! One spot left – LOST LAKE ELEMENTARY located in Clermont. Full time pays $72,900.00 for CCC with full benefits. This is a great district – the Lead SLP has always been helpful and the ESE Administration is very supportive of all the SLPs. We are on the clock 7 hours per day with a 30 minute lunch. We are included in all district inservices, including pre-planning week before school starts, which is much appreciated. If you are a seasoned SLP and you think you are interested in trying schools, this is a great place to start. CCC or CF welcome. Training for SLPs new to the schools is provided.

VOLUSIA COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs – Excellent salary; CCCs earn $68,250.00 and full benefits for the school 182 day school year. CFs earn $65,520.00. Independent Contractors also welcomed. Current openings are: PINE RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL in Deltona,FL (4-5 days/wk with mentor support), DISCOVERY ELEMENTARY/4 Days (another knowledgeable full time SLP on campus) and lastly BEACHSIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Ormond Beach (Full time with another knowledgeable part time SLP on campus)If you’re new to the district, you get a mentor. Almost all SLPs have an aide assigned to them a couple of times a week to help with paperwork. Volusia gives all SLPs an ASHA Learning Pass (in addition to our own company CEU budget,) plus SLP trainings throughout the year. This is a good district and it’s in a great Florida beach area! Please contact us for the updated list as it keeps changing. The district is divided into the east side (beach side) and west side (closer to Sanford includes Deland, Deltona) with separate SLP leadership to make sure you get any help you need quickly and by someone located near your school.

OCALA / MARION COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs and SLPAs – PAY INCREASE FOR 25-26 SCHOOL YEAR. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS WELCOMED. This has been a stable place to work in a pleasant area filled with springs, rivers, horse farms and outdoor activities.  We’ve had SLPs working in this district for 20 years! There are quite a few vacancies here, including: Dunnellon High School (5 days), Dunnellon Middle School (3 days) and Fessenden Elementary (3-4 days), Lake Weir Middle (3 days) and Ross Prairie Elementary (5 days.) it’s a big county and it keeps growing. HIGHLANDS COUNTY SCHOOLS SPEECH PATHOLOGIST & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST OUR HIGHEST PAY! Pay is excellent. Ranges from $76,048.00 to $78,400.00 depending on your school experience. This is a smaller district in the middle of the state, but it is perfect for weekend day trips to the beach, Orlando or Ft Myers. The city has grown and has all the usual amenities for happiness and recreation. This district requires SLPs to already have CCC. New grad OTs are welcomed. There is a cool car racing vibe here at Sebring International Raceway, plus a UNESCO Dark Sky area (see the Milky Way!!)

FLAGLER COUNTY SCHOOLS SLPs & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST NOW OPENING IN JANUARY – Part time serving PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS IN Flagler County. This is a sweet job with a low caseload. Schools include the Christ the King, Elizabeth Seaton, First Baptist, Atlas (a new one for us) and SCCS. There are also full time public school SLP spots and one OT position open in this small beach side district, just south of St Augustine. Bunnell Elementary has a very large caseload and needs an additional 2 SLPs! Rymfire Elementary in Palm Coast needs 1 additional SLP. This is an old-time beach community where you can still park right next to the beach. It is also home to lots of affordable housing in Palm Coast.
